Justinian Isham

Life

Justinian Isham, born about 1707,^1,2 who matriculated at Oxford (Pembroke College) 30 June 1725, being then aged eighteen years.^? He was admitted to Gray's Inn 22 Sept. 1724 and was living in the parish of St. George the Martyr in London at his death.^? He was buried 5 April 1743 at Lamport,³ and administration of his goods was granted 10 June 1743 to Mary Isham, his widow, by whom he had no issue.^?

His wife Mary Anderson, daughter of Sir Stephen Anderson of Eyworth, baronet, was married to him 22 Jan. 1738/9 at St. George's, Hanover Square.^? She lived in Kensington after her husband's death, and was buried at Eyworth 5 May 1774, aged sixty-six years.^? Her will of 9 Jan. 1774 was proved with three codicils on 1 July 1774 by Thomas Sutton and Thomas Cope, the executors.^? She gave to Sir Justinian Isham, baronet, the pictures of her father, mother and husband.^?
